    The Muslim World League (MWL), in cooperation with the Scandinavian Council for Relations (SCR), is holding a conference entitled (National Identity and Intellectual Security), in the Danish capital Copenhagen on Friday, November 15, 2019, in the presence of representatives of the security, academic and religious authorities from all over the world. The lecturers are specialized in this field.
    The conference will address the issue of the spread of extremist thought, terrorism and militancy among societies characterized by cultural, intellectual and religious diversity in the world, especially European societies, through seven topics that address national belonging and diagnose reality and provide solutions derived from the possibilities available in these societies. They will focus on successful experiences, and highlight the role of components of a secure and cohesive society characterized by dialogue, coexistence, understanding and the promotion of intellectual security, as follows:

  • Radicalism and extremism causes and justifications.
  • Ideas and ideologies leading to terrorism.
  • National identity and its role in intellectual security.
  • The role of the clergy in strengthening intellectual and national security.
  • Models from councils of different communities and their role in spreading the culture of dialogue.
  • The labor market and its impact on eliminating extremism and extremism in societies.
  • Terrorism – the role of victims and their relatives and their role in preventing extremism and terrorism.

    • The conference will be held at Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport, Ellehammersvej 20, 2770 Kastrup from 08:30 to 17:30
