Kalajoki is a city known for its marine scenery and exceptionally magnificent sandbeaches. The city can easily be reached by airplane via Oulu and by sea with ship to Vaasa. The city is located in northwestern Finland, south of Oulu.

We want to promote the business of all the companies that participate in the network. 120 companies and 6000 exhibition visitors participated in 2017 when Proforest was arranged for the first time. In 2019, 170 companies and 8000 exhibition visitors took part of the show. When Proforest started to grow, an experienced and international organizer was procured for the event. Expomark Oy is such a company: with a 30-year experience it has organised significant professional events all over Finland.
“We are eagerly proceeding to expand Proforest in cooperation with the best companies and actors in the forest machine branch. The Finnish forest industry is a success story and in its wake we have developed a great deal of know-how in the forest machine branch. There is great demand for machines produced in Finland both in nearby regions as well as in regions further away. Therefore, Proforest can also contribute much to the international business of the branch. We welcome both forest machine companies and professionals at large to Kalajoki in the spring of 2021!” says Expomarks Managing Director Tomi Niemi.
Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre (The Finnish Fair Corporation) promotes Finnish business by enabling profitable encounters during fairs, meetings, congresses and other events. Finland’s largest event organiser hosts 50 different fairs and exhibitions and 1000 meetings and congresses annually. Some 1,1 million guests visit the events at Messukeskus every year.
